About: History

For over 100 years, Heraeus has accompanied the developments in the field of temperature measurement with their platinum temperature sensors and contributed many significant innovations.

Temperature, one of the most important physical quantities, influences the function of technical equipment as well as speed and selectivity in many industrial processes.

For this reason, great interest is attributed to precise temperature measurement and control.

The rising awareness for energy as a precious resource has increased this important role.
